Advertising and monetization disclosure
Editorial conclusions must not be purchased. Commercial relationships, if introduced, will be labelled and kept separate from clinical review.
Current status
This development build does not contain live advertising code, an AdSense publisher identifier, affiliate links, sponsored placements, paid recommendations, or an ads.txt seller record. It does not claim Google approval, partnership, certification, or policy compliance. No advertisement should appear on the local build.
How future advertising would be identified
Advertising must be visually distinct from navigation, clinical content, downloads, forms, and calls to action. Sponsored material must be labelled where the relationship is visible to the reader, and an affiliate relationship must be disclosed before or beside an affected recommendation. A commercial relationship must not be hidden inside an ordinary resource card or represented as independent clinical review.
Pages that are not eligible for ads
Ads will not be placed on login or account screens, patient-file or order areas, search pages or empty results, error and retired-page responses, form confirmations, secure workflows, or other non-content and sensitive contexts. Draft health articles are also ineligible while they remain unreviewed and excluded from indexing. A site-wide kill switch must allow advertising to be disabled without breaking page content.
Editorial separation
Advertisers, suppliers, and commercial partners will not purchase clinical conclusions, source selection, ratings, reviewer approval, or removal of material limitations. Editorial staff must be able to correct or withdraw a page regardless of revenue. Product availability, sponsorship, or an affiliate commission is not evidence that a product is suitable for an individual.
Privacy and consent before activation
Advertising or measurement code will not be introduced until the real provider, data categories, cookies or storage, purposes, retention, geographic reach, user choices, consent requirements, and publisher identifiers are known and reflected in the privacy notice. Placeholder publisher IDs and unverified seller records are prohibited. Requirements must be checked again against current official platform policies before activation.
Questions and complaints
Readers may report an unlabeled placement, obstructive mobile ad, misleading destination, privacy concern, or apparent conflict through the public contact route. Include the page URL and a non-sensitive description or screenshot. Advertising status and complaints do not belong in a patient or order record.
