Ownership and licensed material

Original site text, interface design, diagrams, and project-created media are protected subject to applicable rights. Names, marks, quoted material, linked resources, and third-party works remain subject to their respective owners’ rights. Historical files are republished only after provenance and rights review; possession of an archived file is not treated as proof of ownership, permission, or a continuing licence.

Permitted references

You may link to a public page and may quote a limited portion where permission or applicable law allows, using accurate attribution and without implying endorsement. Do not copy a complete guide, redistribute diagrams as a product, remove credits or notices, use the logo to impersonate the organization, or present modified medical information as an authorized Orthotic Energy publication. Contact us before broader commercial, educational, dataset, or republication use.

What to include in a notice

Email [email protected] with the claimant’s name and reliable contact details, a description or copy of the protected work, the exact site URL and material at issue, the claimed rights or authority to act, the requested outcome, and supporting ownership, licence, attribution, or publication records. Explain any time-sensitive harm. Do not send unrelated personal, patient, password, or payment data.

Good-faith and accuracy expectations

A report should identify the specific material rather than an entire domain when the concern is narrower. Confirm that the use has not already been authorized, licensed, attributed, or permitted before requesting removal. Deliberately false, incomplete, or impersonated reports can harm legitimate expression and delay review. This page does not create a statutory notice procedure that has not been confirmed for the operator.

Review process

We may acknowledge the report, request clarification, preserve relevant provenance, temporarily restrict disputed material, and compare the notice with source, licence, creation, and publication records. Depending on the evidence, we may correct attribution, replace an asset, limit access, remove material, decline an unsupported request, or ask the parties for further documentation. A temporary restriction is not an admission about ownership or infringement.

Responses and restoration

A contributor or other affected party may be asked for evidence of authorship, licence, permission, public-domain status, or another basis for use. Material may be restored or revised when a concern is resolved. We document the outcome needed for site governance while limiting unnecessary personal information. Formal counter-notice, agent, venue, and jurisdiction language is omitted until the real operating entity and applicable legal process are confirmed.

Media provenance in this rebuild

The historical logo and its derived favicon and app icons are used for this rebuild under the user’s explicit confirmation dated 2026-09-20. Other archived product and news imagery remains unpublished unless separately cleared. Article diagrams are original project assets recorded in the published-media inventory; their existence does not turn a general educational illustration into clinical or product evidence.
